Debbie Fowler has been privileged to serve the Western Governors University mission for 14 over years in a variety of roles. She was instrumental in building WGU’s unique faculty model with specialized roles that ensure busy adults can move quickly through a robust curriculum to earn credentials that are well-respected and aligned to workforce needs. Debbie currently serves as Senior Vice President of Student Success, leading teams across the student lifecycle from enrollment through graduation and back in an open loop of lifetime learning.

Dr. Joseph Parisi

The Vice President for Enrollment Management at Central Methodist University, Dr. Parisi joined the university in July 2017. He directs the Admissions, Financial Aid, International Student Affairs, and Marketing Communications departments. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nonprofit Administration and Recreation Administration from Missouri Valley College before going on to earn a Master of Science degree in Business Administration-Nonprofit Administration, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership, both from Lindenwood University. Parisi and his wife, Brenda, are parents of two daughters, Giavanna and Maleah.

A Central Methodist University employee since 1991, Dr. Gulstad currently serves as Provost, with offices in Brannock Hall. She received her Master of Arts in Library Science degree, Master of Arts in Romance Languages degree, and Doctor of Philosophy in Romance Languages degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. Her hobbies include genealogy and reading.

Roy Simmons is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services at BridgeValley Community and Technical College. In this position he oversees admissions, financial aid, and the office of the registrar. He has over 17 years of experience in higher education at 2 different community colleges and five years’ experience at a four-year university internationally.

James McDougle is currently serving as the Dean of Students at BridgeValley Community and Technical College. In this position he oversees student development, engagement, support services, as well as student conduct. He has over 13 years of experience in higher education at 2 different community colleges and two years’ experience at a four-year university.
