Ana Hernandez Blackstad has served as Dean of Students at Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic since 2019.  Ana has lived in Prague since 2016, moving there from the Seattle, Washington area. Her most recent position before joining AAU was Head of School for American Academy in Prague, the first American-style high school in the Czech Republic. Prior to moving to Prague, Ana served as Dean of Student Success at Bellevue College in Washington State, USA. Ana holds a Master's degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Art from Creighton University.

Dr. Chris DeGeare

Dr. Chris DeGeare is the Dean of Instruction at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri. He began his career in IT and developed a passion for teaching, eventually gaining a faculty position in the Jefferson College Computer Information Systems department. Over his 15 years at Jefferson College, he has served as classified staff, adjunct instructor, faculty, certified staff, and, ultimately, administrator. His background and experience equipped him to help the College transition to working remotely.

Laura Romero
Senior Enterprise Account Executive

Laura Romero is an Account Executive in Salesforce's Higher Education division. She has spent the last decade in the Higher Education technology space establishing partnerships with institutions to address affordability, employability and retention. She has worked worked with both 4 year and 2 year institutions across the entire country. During this time, Laura has maintained her office in the home and has learned a lot from that experience. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University and lives in Lubbock, Texas with her husband and two daughters, 6 and 3.

Ambrosia Harrison
SkillUP Project Support Specialist
St. Louis Community College

Ambrosia Harrison is the SkillUP Project Support Specialist for St. Louis Community College Workforce Solutions Group. Her position has her working closely with the State of Missouri’s Department of Social Services Family Support Division to support the SkillUP Program and help provide tuition assistance for in demand job field training to Missouri residents that are receiving Food Stamps. She is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and attended St. Louis Community College Meramac in the field of Architectural Technology. She has worked for STLCC for 3 years and has a background in drafting, construction, office administration, and a passion for social justice and care for the needy and less fortunate. She and her husband have two children, ages 2 and 3, whom keep them busy and active.
