Webcast: Got Wellbeing? Designing a Campus Specific Wellbeing Program

This webcast will provide practical and real-world examples from Thad Mantaro's 15+ years of work in health promotion and wellbeing on several college campuses. The webcast will provide background information about models of college health promotion, multi-dimensional wellbeing, key approaches (Gallup, SAMHSA, SEM), and examples of programs related to stress reduction/mental health, student retention and wellbeing, and employee wellbeing. The program will provide some information about employee wellbeing, however, the primary purpose will be to discuss student-related programs and best-practices.

Thad Mantaro

Thad Mantaro, M.S. has worked for over 15 years in health promotion and wellbeing at four different institutions: SUNY Oswego, Colgate, Texas Woman's University, and UNTHSC. He is currently senior manager of partnership engagement at Elite Research, a small statistical consulting company, and a doctoral student in higher education administration at Texas Tech. His doctoral research focuses on the leadership of wellbeing programs.
